Description: CANCELLED 5/25 Kayak Float

Location: Henry Horton State Park

Join us for a family-friendly kayak float along the beautiful Duck River. This trip is a 2-mile guided kayak float that will take roughly 1-2 hours. This section of the Duck River is perfect for any skill level and would be perfect for first time kayakers.

Please read the following information carefully:

• Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must be 10 years of age or older to use a single-seated kayak. Parents with children under the age of 10 can reserve two single kayaks, and call ahead to request a tandum (limited to two per trip, FCFS).
• For your safety and to support safe boating in Tennessee, participants will wear PFD’s (life jackets) while on the water. Please wear water appropriate shoes and clothing. We also recommend bringing water, wearing sunscreen, and using a hat. Alcohol is NOT permitted on the kayak float, before or during the trip.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign liability waivers. A safety brief will be given before we hit the water. No cash will be taken for the trip, guests must pay prior to the trip either online or at one of our point of sale locations on the park.
• We will meet at the wetland parking lot. You will leave your vehicle and we will drive to the put in with you in a park truck(s).
• Please be advised in the event of inclement weather or unsafe water levels, the trip will be canceled at the park ranger and/or guide staff's discretion and a refund will be provided.
