A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, has been a hallmark of the Christmas season since it was first published in 1843. Join nationally acclaimed entertainer David Browning as he interprets this timeless tale as a one-man dramatic presentation in the person of Ebenezer Scrooge and 12 other characters from Dickens’ classic story. Performances will be held in the beautiful West Room of the historic Taylor home at Sabine Hill State Historic Site. Following the show guests will have the opportunity to meet with Mr. Browning and enjoy a self-guided tour of the beautiful federal era house decorated with festive greenery and soft candlelight for the holidays.
Please note, Sabine Hill is only accessible by stairs and only portable restroom facilities are available at this time.
