Join Ranger Demetriou for a peaceful morning hike, "Twas the Hike Before Christmas," on the 3-mile loop of the Woodland Trail. Starting promptly at 7 AM, this guided walk offers a chance to connect with nature and enjoy a moment of tranquility before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins.

To ensure a comfortable and safe experience, please dress according to the 3 Ws of layering:

• Wicking (Base Layer): Wear a layer close to your skin that wicks away moisture to keep you dry. Materials like wool or synthetics are great choices.
• Warmth (Mid-Layer): Add an insulating layer, such as fleece or a down jacket, to trap body heat and keep you warm.
• Weather (Outer Layer): A waterproof and windproof outer shell will protect you from the elements.

This hike is a perfect opportunity to experience the quiet beauty of the woods in winter. The trail is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels. Please wear sturdy footwear.
