Hike the park and learn the historic uses of our native trees!
This hike will be approximately 2 miles and includes moderate inclines and uneven terrain. We will meet at the Visitor Center Back Porch to hike the High Ridge Trail, Owl Ridge Trail, and Shoreline Trail. This hike does not include the stairs but can still be steep at some points.
While some species may be abundant enough to harvest, this hike will be educational and conservation focused. Remember to use good foraging practices at all times!
Registration for this event is REQUIRED as there is limited space. Parking will be available at the Visitor Center parking lot and Raccoon Creek Ln.
