Learn how humans' effect ecosystems and how we can minimize our impact on the natural world. Some of the topics that will be discussed are human build ecosystem barriers, pollution, and recycling.
It will begin at 10 AM at shelter 2 on the day use side of the park. This program will end at 12 PM. There will be multiple topics and activities during this time period. It is $5 per homeschooler. Registration is REQUIRED. Homeschoolers need to have an adult with them throughout this program. Program content will be targeted towards 1st-5th grade standards, but all students are welcome!
Make sure they dress appropriately for the weather as we will be outside, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and snacks as needed. there will be several small breaks for kids to go to the bathroom and give their brains a break.
