Description: Support Mounted Patrol at Head of the Crow
Location: Head of the Crow State Park
Did you know that Head of the Crow State Park is home to one of Tennessee State Parks’ Mounted Patrol horses?
Our horse, Virgil, is partnered with Ranger Allen and serves our visitors by assisting with patrol, search and rescue, community engagement, and special events. Whether on the trails or meeting visitors, this duo plays an important role in helping keep our park safe and welcoming.
Caring for a Mounted Patrol horse requires daily attention and ongoing costs—such as feed, hay, veterinary care, grooming supplies, riding equipment, and facilities such as the barn and fencing. Your donations help alleviate these expenses and directly support the well-being of this incredible partner in conservation. 100% of your donations go towards Head of the Crow's Mounted Patrol program.
Make a donation by clicking the "Register for event" button and following the prompts. Options can be selected multiple times if desired. Additionally, Mounted Patrol stickers and patches will soon be available for purchase in the gift shop!
Thank you for supporting the Mounted Patrol Program and helping us continue to serve visitors in a unique and meaningful way!
