Come out and enjoy the year's longest night with some stargazing!
Participants will meet in the Golf Course parking lot to enjoy an evening of night-time exploration! Participants will receive a pair of binoculars to use during the program, as well as get the chance to look through a spotting scope. After a brief discussion, we will allow time for on-your-own viewing, including a brief (0.25 mile) walk on the cart path.
The Winter Solstice also marks the first day of winter, so remember to dress for the weather! Feel free to bring blankets or lawn chairs for your stargazing experience.
