Day-Use Facility Reservation Policies

Welcome to Tims Ford State Park

Thank you for visiting us at beautiful Tims Ford State Park. We sincerely hope you enjoy your time here. Please review the reservation and cancellation policies below.

Reservation changes or cancellations may be made by calling Central Reservations at 888-TNPARKS (888-867-2757) or Tims Ford State Park at (931) 968-3536 daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (central time). Please do not submit reservation changes or cancellations via email reply as this mailbox is not monitored.

While you are at the park, don't forget to visit our gift shop to get the perfect souvenir to remember your visit.

Firewood may also be purchased at the park visitor center or you may contact any campground attendant or host for information.

Picnic Shelter Reservations Policy

Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved with a paid reservation fee. Online reservations are available up to one year in advance. Groups may contact the park directly for reservations up to two years in advance.

Cancellations should be made online or by calling the park directly during normal business hours. Cancellations may not be made via voicemail, email or social media.

There is a $5.00 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations cancelled 8 days or more in advance of the reserved date.
Reservations cancelled 7 days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees.
Refunds to credit / debit cards can take up to 7 days.
If payment is made using a gift card, please retain this gift card in case you cancel your reservation. Any refunds must be made to the original gift card.
If this reservation is part of a contracted group, then the contract's cancellation policies supersede the above individual cancellation policies.

TDEC / TN State Parks reserves the right to cancel a reservation and/or contract anytime with 100% refund of all monies received for the reservation.

Public Internet / Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy

All guests must adhere to Tennessee State Parks' Public Internet / Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy while visiting any park facility or area where internet or Wi-Fi services are offered.

Firewood Policy

Only Certified Heat Treated Firewood is allowed to enter the state park. Please help us to protect Tennessee's state parks and forests. See http://www.protecttnforests.org for more information about invasive forest pests. You may also go to http://www.firewoodscout.org to find a vendor who sells Certified Heat Treated Firewood.
