Tour Information
Tours of Miller Farmstead are offered seasonally and tickets are required. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Please note the following:
- Please arrive in plenty of time to park and meet on the front porch of the Farmhouse. Tours begin promptly.
- Due to incidents involving livestock and guests, pets are not allowed on the premises of the Miller Farmstead or in the Miller Farmhouse, with the exception of trained service dogs.
- Due to its location and historic nature, the Miller Farmstead is not ADA accessible and does not have ADA accessible parking available. By advance arrangement only, tour guests with accessibility needs may be dropped off and picked up near the house, using the maintenance road. To request this accommodation, contact the park office at 423-547-3900 24 hours prior to tour start.
Cancellations/Refunds: For cancellation contact the Park Office directly at 423-547-3900. Cancellations may be made 24 hours in advance may be subject to refund. Cancellations may not be made via voicemail or social media.
TDEC / TN State Parks reserves the right to cancel a reservation and/or contract anytime with 100% refund of all monies received for the reservation.

Tour Information
Miller Farmstead Guided Tours
Join park staff for a guided tour of the Miller farmhouse and learn more about the history of Roan Mountain and the people who have called it home for generations. Tours last 45 minutes to an hour and are limited to 12 participants.
Attendees should meet park staff at the farmstead porch. Tours begin promptly.
Due to incidents involving livestock and guests, pets are not allowed on the premises of the Miller Farmstead or in the Miller Farmhouse, with the exception of trained service dogs.
