This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Meet SIR Emmalee at the park museum to make your very own yarn doll! During this 1-hour program, we will talk about the history of these dolls and show you how to craft one to take home. We will discuss why homesteaders in the late 1800s might have used yarn rather than porcelain or glass to make dolls.
All supplies will be provided for the program. To prepare for this program please read the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria.
This program is recommended for anyone 8 years or older. Younger participants may join with adult supervision.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled.
