This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Interpretive Ranger Kandace at the park museum for a frightfully fun craft where you can make a Halloween yarn witch or ghost! During this 1-hour program, we will talk about the history of yarn dolls and why homesteaders in the late 1800s might have used yarn rather than porcelain or glass to make dolls.
You will then create and decorate your very own yarn witch or ghost to take home!
All supplies will be provided for the program.
To prepare for this program please read the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria.
This program is recommended for anyone 8 years or older. Younger participants may join with adult supervision.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled.
