Step back in time and get creative with a hands on craft inspired by the 1930s! In this program, participants will paint and decorate their own wooden snake toy, just like children might have enjoyed during the Great Depression era, when simple homemade toys brought hours of fun.
Learn how families in the 1930s made do with what they had, turning everyday materials into cherished playthings. Then bring your own snake to life using classic colors, patterns, or your own unique design. Whether you keep it simple or go bold, each toy becomes a one of a kind creation.
This program is perfect for all ages and blends history, creativity, and a little nostalgia. Come paint, play, and take home a piece of the past!
