This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Come sit a spell and try your hand at an age-old pastime—whittling! In this beginner-friendly, hands-on program, you'll learn the safe use of carving tools, discover which local woods are best for whittling, and make a simple project to take home. As the shavings fall, we'll share stories and history from Tennessee's frontier days when a pocketknife and a stick could pass the time and tell a tale.
BRING YOUR OWN POCKETTKNIFE! ONE WILL NOT BE PROVIDED!
