PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: When Nature Meets History

Location: Indian Mountain State Park

Our Airplane Pond trail offers many opportunities to view and learn about wildlife, history, and the junction where they cross paths. Join us on a guided 0.65 mile walk on the trail to discuss these natural and historical highlights we have, though every hike can be rich with something new to experience and learn!

This program is designed for adults and children who are interested in connecting with nature, learning historical and natural aspects of the trail, increasing their observations skills with gradual inclines and declines, and of course - enjoying the view! Please see the Essential Eligibility Criteria below for more information.

Throughout the program, I will be there to assist and provide valuable insights. You’ll leave this program with a boost to your natural observation skills and a better appreciation for what Airplane Pond trail has to offer.

To make the most of this experience, we recommend wearing bug spray, dressing comfortably for outdoor activities, wearing sturdy walking shoes, and having water available if needed.

In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled. Our website has been experiencing technical difficulties. If you are unable to register for a program, please contact the park at the number listed.
