This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Ever wondered which trees may be found in your local ecosystem? Dive into the basics of tree identification with park staff! We will meet at the Visitor's Center at 10:00 am [CST] and embark on a 1-mile, beginner-level hike on the Waterfall Overlook Trail. During our journey, you will learn basic methods of tree identification, as well as what native trees may be found within the park.
Make sure to pack water and a light snack. Sturdy shoes and appropriate hiking clothes are required.
