This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Looking to volunteer some time keeping Big Hill Pond beautiful? Come out and Wrangle invasive Kudzu with park staff. Kudzu was introduced to the United States in the late 1800's to help control erosion. Little did they know, the invasive vine would be nicknamed "the vine that ate the South." Come help park staff with the removal of invasive Kudzu.
We will provide water and light snacks. Also provided are pruning shears and other equipment.
Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty (pants & long sleeves recommended). Bring bug spray and gloves.
