This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Every year state parks host a Weed Wrangle event to remove invasive species from park properties. This year we are focusing on areas of the park that we cannot burn and must work by hand. Please consider joining us as we do this important work to keep our wildflower fields in top shape and prepare for a beautiful spring full of flowers, butterflies and other beneficial insects.
**Student groups are encouraged to participate to earn hours for scholarships!
Please bring a sack lunch or snacks and drinks (water will be provided).
All tools will be provided as well as some gloves.
Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. We will be in tall brush in our wildflower fields.
We will meet at the Nature Center and move to the locations from there!
