This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Volunteers are needed to rake and smooth the old surface mulch and distribute new mulch onto the trail. The trail is 0.1 (one tenth) of a mile long. Rakes, gloves and cold water will be provided to volunteers!
The Tactile Trail is bounded by a rope and has a cane detectable rail. It has interpretive panels with tactile features and an audio reader available in the Explore TSP app. A wooden deck with seating is part of the trail overlooking the creek.
We are excited to offer this trail so that all visitors of all abilities can experience the serenity of being surrounded by woods and a natural environment.
We also have one all-terrain wheelchair for those with mobility issues - available at no charge! Please reserve on-line on the park page.
