Learn to read the stars and interpret the night sky as a grand cosmic mosaic portraying the ultimate human story. Join Ranger George for a star viewing at Link Farm State Archaeological Area and learn about the stories and ancient mythologies behind constellations and other celestial bodies.
We will meet at the Johnsonville Visitor Center at 8:00 and depart by 8:15 in personal vehicles to the Link Farm site. The program will last an hour and a half to two hours and will be in complete darkness and there are no restrooms at the site, please be sure to bring a flashlight, closed toed shoes, a water bottle and anything else you may need for a night of learning and spectacular views. Please bring no pets. The tour will be cancelled in the vent of severe weather. We hope to see you there!
