Join Ranger Taylor for a free tour of Fort Watauga! Learn the story of why the fort was built, step inside one of the fort’s cabins, learn about the siege of the fort in summer of 1776, and see an 18th-century flintlock demo. Tours will be ongoing from 2 PM to 3 PM. Each tour lasts about 15 minutes. A flintlock demo involving a loud noise will conclude each tour.
