Enjoy a family friendly activity that will introduce you to the history of the park with a tomahawk toss game! Learn about the history of Native Americans and early settlers in the area. Use on of their most versatile tools, the tomahawk, in a fun axe throwing game.
The program will take place in the visitor's center lawn from 2pm - 3pm. This is a drop-in event where guests are welcome to visit for a short time or stay for the whole programing time. Please where closed toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing. This program will be subject to change due to weather.
Children will need to be able to hold the tomahawk correctly in order to throw it. May not be suitable for very young children. For more information on accessibility of this program, please read the essential eligibility criteria document or reach out to the program host for questions.
