Description: TN Serves/National Public Lands Day

Location: Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park

Join us on Saturday September 20th at 10:00am at the picnic tables near the Bunkum Cave Loop trailhead for TN Serves and National Public Lands Day.

We will be clearing a section of the Storybook trail, maintaining the Storybook signs, and removing invasive species. Equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your own personal protective equipment, pruning shears, or limb loppers. Please find the Essential Eligibility Criteria in the pdf for this event.

Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Don’t forget your water, snacks, and gloves if you have them! Depending on the weather you may also want to bring a hat, bug spray, and sunscreen. 

In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled.
