This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
What was life like for young women in Tennessee years ago? Skills that seem obsolete to us today were once a matter of survival.
Come see seasonal ranger Sage at the visitor center to make a cross-stitch sampler and learn about its history. Registration online required!
This program will expand on early pioneer women’s lives and introduce the art of cross stitch as a useful skill that is still relevant today.
This program is recommended for ages 10+ interested in Tennessee history and/or fiber arts. The program will last approximately 90m minutes and will be inside the visitor center.
In the case of inclement weather or other emergencies this program may be cancelled or rescheduled. If the program is cancelled you will receive a text on the phone number or email you provide during registration, and we will attempt to reschedule for the near future.
