This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
What was life like for young women in Tennessee years ago? Skills that seem unimportant today were a matter of survival back then, even things like sewing and needlepoint, which seem silly today. This program will expand on early pioneer women’s lives, and introduce the art of cross stitch as a useful skill that is still relevant today.
This program is recommended for anyone interested in Tennessee history and/or fiber arts. The program will last approximately 1 hour during which we will be seated inside the visitor center.
In the case of inclement weather or other emergencies this program may be cancelled or rescheduled. If the program is cancelled you will receive a text on the phone number you provide during registration, and we will attempt to reschedule for the near future.
