Join us in the Nature Center for this free informative program about the use of the shagbark hickory tree in the Chickasaw Nation and its use as in modern recipes.
SIR Chasity will show you how to prepare the bark for syrup, medicine, and other traditional purposes.
Syrup will be available to taste test and a detailed recipe will also be provided with the demonstration!
