Adventurers of all ages are welcome to meet inside the Sycamore Shoals Visitors' Center for a 45-minute presentation exploring the ultimate survival skills of the 1770s frontier. Alongside Kaden Payne, you will discover how these early explorers managed to survive for months at a time relying strictly on the essential gear packed on their backs and their sharp woodcraft wits. You will get an up-close look at historical tools, specialized tracking methods, and wilderness shelters used to conquer the mountains. In case of unfavorable weather, this program will easily move indoors.
