Enjoy a beautiful hike along the Nolichucky River while the fall weather is starting to set in. Ranger Chinouth will lead a 0.6 mile hike that starts at the Crockett Shoals Overlook Trailhead and finishes on the Nolichucky River right at sunset!
Ranger Chinouth will discuss the history of the Nolichucky River along with settlements that were located on the river throughout the history of Tennessee (even before we were a state); We will discuss the Crocketts and 18th century frontier, along with the importance of the Nolichucky Watershed present day.
