This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Canoe with Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Ivy on the Cherokee Lake for a chance to watch the sunset and admire our local wildlife (such as Great Blue Herons and Egrets). You will be guided on this float with an emphasis on mindfulness and historical relationships between humans and bodies of water. Canoes, paddles, and life jackets will be provided. Bring sun protection. Registration is required prior to participation and costs $10 per person. At least one headlamp or light source per boat is mandatory (Two guests per boat). Be prepared to get wet, I recommend sandals and comfortable outdoor clothes.
There are no restrooms available at the Boat Ramp, please plan ahead.
