This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Park Interpretive Ranger Andrea Price to make art in nature using the power of the sun! Sun prints use a special type of paper to make beautiful artwork from the sun’s rays. We will use items found in nature to create layered designs that showcase the beauty of nature while leaving no trace!
As our prints develop in the sunshine, we will talk about the process taking place to turn our collected natural features into artwork and how we can Leave No Trace in other parts of the park. All materials will be provided.
Please remember to bring sun protection, sunscreen, and water as this program will take place outdoors in a sunny area.
We will meet at the Miller Farmstead.
This program is open to all and coincides with Girl Scouts Love State Park Days.
