Happy Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend!
While this program celebrates Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend, you do not have to be a Girl Scout to participate. This program is open to all.
Join Park Interpretive Ranger Price for a short hike along the Doe River to read the story "Benny the Hellbender: Don't Dam the Doe!" Participants will meet at the Camp Store before starting the hike. Then, we will take a walk down the 0.4-mile Tom Gray Trail to enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest while reading Benny's story, learning more about the Eastern Hellbender, and understanding the Doe River’s importance to our local ecosystem.
This program is free, but registration is required.
