Dennis is probably known to most wildflower enthusiasts in the state as one of the authors of the Society’s illustrated field guide, “Wildflowers of Tennessee, the Ohio Valley, and Southern Appalachians.” He had won numerous awards for his wealth of wildflower knowledge and the ability to help others learn them as well. He helped designate Short Springs as a Natural Area that we at Old Stone Fort now manage.
He will be doing some wildflower presentations in our Museum Theater Room at 11am for Spring Nature Day!
