***Pre-Registration is REQUIRED for this program. Please click REGISTER FOR EVENT to reserve your spot on the hike.***

Join park staff for a guided hike along the trails of Seven Islands State Birding Park for our Spring Hike and our bird of the year kickoff event featuring the Belted Kingfisher. Participants will learn about the conservation efforts at the park focused on birds, especially grassland species. The hike will be an easy-moderate difficulty 2-2.5 mile hike. This is a free hike, but if you would like to donate to the park as part of your registration, we would be very appreciative. This hike will leave the Bluebird Barn area at 9:00am. Please plan on arriving at the Bluebird Barn by the main entrance on Kelly Lane by 9:00am and checking in at the Friends of Seven Islands information table by the barn. Please bring bottled water for yourself and comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather.
