Spring into history with a ranger led hike to Fort Loudoun. Along the way the fort's significance, brief history, and defenses will be discussed. The hike will end inside the fort in time for hikers to take in the 18th Century Trades Garrison and firing of the cannon, weather permitting.
This is a short and easy hike, approximately 200 yards in length, but will focus on the history of the fort. Please wear appropriate shoes and bring a jacket, March can be muddy and cold. Don't forget your camera!
