Sounds of Nature – Birding Hike
Meet at the Park Main Office located at 404 Spring Creek Rd, Delano, TN, 37325.
Over 100 species of birds have been observed at Hiwassee Scenic River State Park, and they all have their own unique sounds! Come on out and join Interpretive Ranger Andy for a beginners guide to listening, searching and identifying the native birds here at the park. This program will last roughly an hour, all ages are welcome, and we will provide bird guides and binoculars for the duration of the program. Feel free to bring your own binoculars as well!
