Walk with Seasonal Ranger Adrianna to find and identify local birds!
Savvy a songbird stroll? In this relaxing program, we will be walking approximately 1 mile on the Songbird Trail while we look for local birds along the beautiful Clinch river. We will also be learning how to use a helpful app called “Merlin ID” that can identify the bird calls we hear during the walk. Binoculars are highly recommended, but not required.
This program will last around 1 hour and will involve walking approx. 1 mile on a gravel path. We will be meeting at the trailhead across from the Lenoir Museum. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen, bug spray, and water. This program is for ages 10 and up.
