Interested or even scared of snakes? Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Colten at 3:00pm at the Visitor Center on Friday, July 17th for an up-close encounter with one of Tennessee's most fascinating native reptiles! Meet Checkers, our park ambassador, and discover how snakes help out the ecosystem and learn that all snakes are not bad. Afterwards, stick around to watch Checkers eat a mouse!
