Description: Sketch & Stroll
Location: Edgar Evins State Park
Join SIR Dixie on a short 0.3-mile hike on Edgar Evins Story Book Trail, where we will pause to take in the scene by drawing it! We will need only a pencil, paper, and our creative minds.
No experience is needed! Concerned you won’t know what to create? Don’t fret! SIR Dixie will be covering her favorite sketching method, Blind Sketching. This exercise is all about learning to observe instead of worrying about what you are drawing.
Explore the meditative benefits of leaving your worries behind and concentrating on your surroundings.
