Part of Head of the Crow State Park, Sherwood Forest boasts some high-quality plateau ecology including the federally endangered Morefield’s leather flower and the federally threatened painted snake coiled forest snail! This hike along the 3-mile day loop will showcase some great trail, views, plant spotting, and geologic features. Among the very best day hikes on the southern plateau! Participants travel along relatively flat but uneven terrain with some steps throughout. There are no restrooms at the trailhead.
