Seven Islands State Birding Park is one of Tennessee's newest State Parks. But who lived here before it was a park and how has the land changed over time? Join Ranger Clare for a walk down Kelly Lane and along the French Broad River. We will stop at some of the historical structures and learn about the families that built them. We will also learn how the natural features, native plants, and wildlife have always been important to the occupants of this land.
Please dress for the weather and be prepared to walk approximately 3-4 miles on moderate terrain. Bring water and wear good walking shoes. Dogs are not allowed on programs, except service dogs.
