This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Interpretive Ranger Amanda at Rocky Fork State Parks ranger station for a community flower garden planting event at the park's entrance sign and ranger station. This hands-on activity offers a chance to enhance the park's beauty by planting native flowers and plants that thrive in the Appalachian landscape. It's a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the local ecosystem and enjoy the outdoors.
Participants are encouraged to wear clothing suitable for gardening, as the activity may involve getting dirty. Bringing gloves, water, and a hat is also recommended for comfort and sun protection. This event is a great way to connect with nature and fellow community members while making a positive impact on the park's environment.
