Step into the past with Interpretive Ranger Amanda, as Jr. Rangers explore the rich history of Rocky Fork State Park on a guided 2 mile roundtrip hike to the Flint Battle Site. Along the trail, campers will learn about the people, places, and events that helped shape the land we know today.
As part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, Jr. Rangers will discover stories from our nation’s past and gain a deeper appreciation for the history connected to Rocky Fork and our region.
Required Items:
• Refillable water bottle
• Hiking shoes or closed toe shoes
• Appropriate outdoor clothing
Lunch will be provided for registered children only
We will be meeting at the Campfire Interpretive Area.
Drop off is between 9 - 9:30am and pick up will be promptly at 1:00pm
