Description: Rockin at the Rock - Lawn Chair Jam - April 18, 2026
Location: Rock Island State Park
The Rockin at the Rock - Lawn Chair Jam is a chance to build community with local TN musicians. Rock Island State Park has hosted this event for many years. However, Our last Lawn Chair Jams were in the 1980s and 1990s! This is a chance to call all of your bandmates, friends, and fellow musicians to a single place for a jam session.
Help us continue this TN tradition on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12 PM - 8 PM at the Rock Island State Park Sandbar Pavilion. This is a chance to fellowship with other local musicians, share stories, musical styles, and be part of a tradition. Bands are welcome!
The Lawn Chair jam is an event that works through participation! Be prepared to play, sing, or dance, and share with fellow musicians!
Be sure to bring a chair, your instruments, dancing shoes, and a meal if you like. Feel free to share! Join the Rock Island family and discover what new music you can make with a new friend.
