This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Explore the beautiful scenery of the local area surrounding Cummins Falls on a ranger-lead kayaking adventure on the Roaring River. Join park staff to enjoy a 3-mile paddle downstream, rated moderate to easy. Ensure that you wear the proper footwear, clothes you are comfortable getting wet, and plenty of sunscreen. Pack snacks, a light lunch, and ample water to stay hydrated throughout the trip.
We will begin our journey at Cummins Falls with a complimentary shuttle to our starting point at The Boils WMA on the Roaring River. After a scenic downstream paddle, we will exit at the Roaring River Spillway. Once reaching the spillway, relax, knowing park trucks are there to shuttle you back to Cummins Falls. Bring your own kayak, if possible, as the number of kayaks available to rent from the park is limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the beauty of Jackson County just downstream from Cummins Falls!
Cancellation Notice: Due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, if the program is canceled, park staff will notify participants before the program to inform them of the cancellation.
