PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: River, Lake, Stream Clean Up Day!

Location: Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park

Come celebrate River, Lake, Stream Clean-Up Month here at Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park! We will clean-up as we hike the Bunkum Cave Loop trail (1.25 miles) plus the stairs down to Bunkum Cave and Cove Creek.

This program is recommended for anyone wanting to explore Bunkum Cave Loop trail while helping to clean up the trail and Cove Creek that runs through Bunkum Cave.

During this program we will chat about being mindful of keeping our beautiful Tennessee rivers, lakes, and streams pristine. We will also take a look at the sinkholes that surround the cave that can be impacted by pollution.

To make the most of this experience, we recommend dressing comfortably for outdoor activities, wearing sturdy walking shoes, and having water available if needed. Please see the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria below for additional information.

In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled.
