River Cane Clean Up - Volunteer Opportunity
Meet at the Hiwassee Scenic River State Park Boat Ramp
River Cane is environmentally and historically a key species to East Tennessee. Let us take a little time to help restore it to its natural state. We will be cleaning out the litter inside the plot, weed eating the plants growing around, and removal of dead cane. This volunteer effort will require close toed shoes, working gloves, and a water bottle. See you out there!
