This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
October 27th is Zero Waste Day in Tennessee! Join Park Interpretive Ranger Andrea Price to learn more about waste reduction actions and practice creative reuse. During this program, participants will be able to take home their own planter to start a kitchen herb garden. Planters will be made out of recycled yogurt containers.
All materials, including seeds, soil, and recycled yogurt containers, will be provided. Participants can bring their own cleaned single-serve yogurt containers to further practice reuse, but it is not required.
We will meet at the Miller Farmstead at 3:00PM.
