This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
The Ranger Book Club will meet every third Saturday of the month at 2:00 PM at the shelter next to the playground. Pickwick Park Rangers will take turns hosting. Each month, we'll share a reading - whether it's a short story, an excerpt, or poem - and lead a brief discussion. Everyone is welcome to join; no preparation work required!
This month, TN Naturalist Amber Prater will be sharing an excerpt from "A Stillness in the Pines" by Robert W. McFarlane and discussing conservation of the Red-cockaded Woodpecker.
Be sure to dress for the weather because this book club meets outdoors! Picnic table seating is available at the Playground Shelter, but feel welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair if you prefer.
