This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
The Ranger Book Club will meet every third Saturday of the month at 2:00 PM at the Playground Shelter. Pickwick Park Rangers will take turns hosting. Each month, we'll share a reading - whether it's a short story, an excerpt, or poem - and lead a brief discussion. Everyone is welcome to join; no preparation work required!
September's reading: A section of "Letters from Alabama" by Philip Henry Gosse. We will focus on the story of early Naturalists that appreciated and shared their interest of wildlife with the wider world.
Be sure to dress for the weather because this book club meets outdoors! Picnic table seating is available at the Playground Shelter, but feel welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair if you prefer.
