This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
The Ranger Book Club will meet every third Saturday of the month at 2:00 PM at the Playground Shelter. Pickwick Park Rangers will take turns hosting. Each month, we'll share a reading - whether it's a short story, an excerpt, or poem - and lead a brief discussion. Everyone is welcome to join; no preparation work required!
In honor of upcoming World Turtle Day, Ranger Rachel will be reading "The Turtle Saver," a beautifully illustrated book by Laurie Parker during May's meeting. Participants of all ages are welcome to attend. To quote from the book's back cover, "'The Turtle Saver' is a charming book for young and old to treasure."
Be sure to dress for the weather because this book club meets outdoors! Picnic table seating is available at the Playground Shelter, but feel welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair if you prefer.
