Description: Puddle Jumpers Mini Junior Camp
Location: Cummins Falls State Park
Cummins Falls State Park is now offering a Puddle Jumpers Program for the little ones. This program is a two day mini Junior Ranger Camp. Dates are June 16th and 17th from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Parents may drop children off but may stay throughout the day as well. Curriculum is designed for children ages 4 and 5. Programs help children build a better relationship with the great outdoors and have fun, while learning. Programs will include various hikes, games, scavenger hunts, activity books, pelts, snakes, birds, crafts, critter crawls and more!!!
Puddle Jumpers need to wear sturdy shoes for hiking / outdoor activities. Puddle Jumpers should apply sunscreen before arrival and bring sunscreen, a hat and a small backpack to carry stuff in. Insect repellent is also recommended. Please pack your puddle jumper plenty of SNACKS AND DRINKING WATER!! We get hungry out in the woods!
Parents/guardians are welcome to volunteer and be part of the camp experience. The cost of the camp is $20 per child. All fees go toward the cost of the camp / supplies. Financial aid is available for those who cannot afford the cost of camp. (Contact Ranger Lauren) We are limited to 15 children for this program. First come first served.
IMPORTANT: After you have registered your child, you will receive a registration packet via e-mail from a Cummins Falls Ranger. You must have this completed to participate.
